Circuit Training Instructor (Loyal Heights and Bitter Lake)

ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is recruiting for a Circuit Training Instructor. The Circuit Training Instructor is responsible for leading seniors through a variety of body conditioning, endurance and resistance training. The instructor will also be responsible for developing training to help participants become stronger and build muscle. Previous experience, a passion for fitness and health is a must!  


Location: Loyal Heights and Bitter Lake Community Center


  • Tuesday - Thursday from 9:30am - 10:30am (Loyal Heights)
  • Fridays from 10:00am - 11:00am (Bitter Lake) 

Start date:  Tuesday, July 31, 2018

End date: Friday, October 5, 2018

Pay range:  $20 - $25 Hourly DOE 



  • Over 21 years of age 
  • Experience leading group exercises or personal training 
  • Experience working with seniors 50+ and an aging population required 
  • Fitness Instructor Certification (AFAA, ACE, NASM, NSCA, ACSM, etc.)
  • Must have First Aid/CPR certification, or willingness to attain
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the US and valid photo ID

This is a part-time, non-benefited position.
