Double Dutch Instructor

ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is looking for a Double Dutch Instructor to teach at the Van Asselt Community Center.

The Double Dutch Instructor will be responsible for teaching youth and adults Double Dutch routines, stunts, tricks, jumps and other techniques. This position will also be responsible for engaging a diverse group of participants. As well as building strong relationships with participants, staff and partners. Creativity, patience, and a love for teaching are a must!


Location: Van Asselt Community Center

Schedule: Tuesdays form 5:00pm – 6:00pm

Start date: Tuesday, January 9, 2018

End date: Tuesday, June 12, 2018

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00 Hourly DOE



  • Experience teaching Double Dutch
  • Ability to work with youth and adults
  • Ability to manage a group
  • Ability to plan, lead lessons plans and activities
  • Must be over the age of 21
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the US and valid government issued ID


This is a part-time, non-benefited position.
