Program Assistant

The Associated Recreation Council (ARC), in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) is recruiting a Program Assistant. The Program Assistant will be responsible for organizing and leading activities such as: arts and crafts, organized games, cultural activities, drama, music, story hour and other fun activities. The Program Assistant will also be responsible for special projects and events.


Location: Delridge Community Center

Pay rate: $15.50 - $16.25 Hourly DOE

Start date: ASAP

Schedule: Wednesday from 1:15pm – 4:45pm

End date: Wednesday, June 20, 2018



  • Experience working with children 5 – 12 years old
  • Experience with large groups of children
  • Over the age of 18 years old
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Must provide valid government-issued ID and proof of eligibility to work in the US
  • Willingness to obtain First Aide/CPR certification


This is a part-time, non-benefited position.
