Skateboard Instructor (Hubbard Homestead Park)

ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is looking for a Skateboard Instructor to teach classes at Hubbard Homestead Park (Northgate Community Center). The Skateboard Instructor will be responsible for teaching beginner to intermediate fundamental skateboarding techniques/skills. The skateboard instructor will also focus on safety throughout the course. The skateboard instructor will create a fun and energetic environment for participants of all ages. Creativity, patience, and a love for teaching is a must!

 

Location: Hubbard Homestead Park (Northgate Community Center)

Schedule: Tuesdays from 3:30pm - 5:30pm

Start date:  Monday, April 2, 2018

End date: Sunday, March 31, 2019

Pay rate: $20.00 Hourly 

 

Requirements:

  • Three or more years of experience teaching Skateboarding
  • Over 21 years of age 
  • Ability to work with various age groups
  • Ability to plan and lead skateboarding activities
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the US and valid photo ID

 

This is a part-time, non-benefited position.
