Summer Camp Baseball Instructor (Magnuson and Miller)

ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is recruiting for a Summer Camp Baseball Instructor. The Summer Camp Baseball Instructor will be responsible for teaching baseball to various age groups. The instructor will be responsible for leading kids through the fundamentals and game rules of baseball.The instructor must have the ability to engage with a diverse group of children and manage a group various ages. Creativity, patience, and a love for teaching and baseball are a must!

Location: Magnuson and MIller Community Center (Must be able to commute to both sites)

Schedule: Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 12:00pm and 1:00pm - 4:00pm

Start date: Monday, June 25, 2018

End date: Saturday, September 1, 2018

Pay Rate: $15.50 - $25.00 Hourly 



  • Experience teaching and coaching baseball
  • Ability to work with various age groups
  • Ability to manage a group
  • Ability to plan, lead lessons plans and activities
  • Must be over the age of 18
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the US and valid government issued ID


This is a part-time, non-benefited position.
