Summer Camp Beach Volleyball Instructor (Alki)

ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is recruiting for a Summer Camp Beach Volleyball Instructor. The Summer Camp Beach Volleyball Instructor will be responsible for teaching kids ages 7-17 years old the fundamentals of volleyball. The volleyball instructor will coach beginner and intermediate players on various techniques such as how to serve, dig, spike and many more. The instructor will also be responible for managng a group of kids. Creativity, patience, and a love for teaching and knowledge of Beach Volleyball are a must!


Location: Alki Community Center


  • Monday - Friday from 8:30am - 12:00pm and 12:45pm - 4:15pm on July 9 - 13, 2018 
  • Monday - Friday from 8:30am - 12:00pm and 12:45pm - 4:15pm on August 20 - 24, 2018

Pay Rate: $19 - $23 Hourly DOE



  • Experience teaching and leading Beach Volleyball lessons
  • Ability to work with various age groups
  • Ability to manage a group
  • Ability to plan, lead lessons plans and activities
  • Must be over the age of 18
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the US and valid government issued ID


This is a part-time, non-benefited position.
