Summer Camp Chef Instructor (Delridge)

ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is recruiting for a Summer Camp Chef Instructor. The Summer Camp Chef Instructor will be responsible for teaching kids ages 6-12 years old the fundamentals of cooking food. The chef instructor will teach kids recipies from around the world and lead experiments with recipes. The instructor will also be responible for managng a group of 5-12 kids. Creativity, patience, and a love for teaching and cooking are a must!


Location: Delridge Community Center

Schedule: Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 12:00pm and 1:00pm - 4:00pm, up to 35 hours per week

Camp dates: 

  • June 25 - 29, 2018
  • July 9 - 13, 2018
  • July 16 - 20, 2018
  • July 30 - August 3, 2018
  • August 6 - 10, 2018
  • August 20 - 24, 2018
  • August 27 - 31, 2018

Pay Rate: $17 - $19 Hourly DOE



  • Experience teaching and leading cooking lessons
  • Ability to work with various age groups
  • Ability to manage a group
  • Ability to plan, lead lessons plans and activities
  • Must be over the age of 18
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the US and valid government issued ID


This is a part-time, non-benefited position.
