Summer Camp Science Instructor (Alki)

ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is recruiting for a Summer Camp Science Instructor for Summer 2018. The Summer Camp Science Instructor is responsible for planning and leading science lessons with children ages 6 - 12 years old. The instructor will also be responsible for managing a group of kids. A love for science and teaching is a must! 


Location: Alki Community Center 

Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8:30am - 12:00pm and 1:00pm - 4:00pm

Camp Sessions: July 30 - August 3, 2018

Start date: Monday, July 30, 2018

End date: Friday, August 3, 2018

Pay range: $16 - $18 Hourly DOE



  • Over 18 years of age 
  • Experience teaching science lessons and leading groups of kids ages 6 - 12 years old 
  • Ability to lead and create lesson plans
  • Must have First Aid/CPR certification, or willingness to attain
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the US and valid photo ID


This is a part-time, non-benefited position.
