Summer Youth Boating Instructor (Mt. Baker)

ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is recruiting for a Summer Youth Boating Instructor to work at the Mount Baker Rowing and Sailing Center. The Summer Youth Boating Instructor will be responsible for teaching Sailing, Windsurfing, Paddling, StandUp, and Rowing courses to youth. Applicants must have a passion for teaching, excellent communication and organizational skills, experience in at least one of the disciplines offered at Mount Baker. Please see our website at for our full range of offerings.

Schedule: Variable 

Start Date: Immediately

End Date: Friday, August 31, 2018

Pay Range: $15.81 - $20.40 Hourly DOE



  • Over 18 years of age
  • Experience in sailing/rowing/paddling, and certification in a related field 
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Must have First Aid/CPR certification 
  • Must have valid WA state driver's license 
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the US and valid government issued ID
  • Must sign up for direct deposit with either checking or savings account or Payroll Paycard


This is a part-time, non-benefited position.
