Tap Dance Instructor

ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is recruiting for a Tap Dance Instructor for our Lifelong Recreation Program at the High Point Community Center. The Tap Dance Instructor will be responsible for teaching seniors basic tap dance lessons. The tap dance instructor will also be responsible for creating lessons and teaching varied steps to music. A passion for teaching tap dance is a must!


Location: Life Long Recreation at High Point Community Center

Schedule:  Thursdays from 12:30pm - 1:30pm 

Start date:  Thursday, April 19, 2018

End date:  Thursday, June 21, 2018

Pay range:  $25.00 - $35.00 Hourly DOE



  • Over 21 years of age 
  • Experience teaching tap dance
  • Ability to create curriculum 
  • Experience leading a group of adults 
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the US and valid photo ID
  • Willingness to obtain First Aide/CPR certification


This is a part-time, non-benefited position.
