Youth Track and Field Officials

ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is looking for Track and Field Officials to officiate for City-wide Athletics with the Associated Recreation Council.

The Track and Field Officials will be responsible for officiating youth track and field events for youth aged 5-17 which includes timing all running events, hand out ribbons and taking measurements for field events. 

Schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 5:00pm – 9:00pm 

Location: West Seattle Stadium of Monday and Tuesday; Nathan Hale High School on Wednesdays

Start date: Monday, April 16, 2018

End date: Tuesday, May 15, 2018

Pay Rate: $15.50 Hourly

Training Days: 1-2 days of training


  • Must be 16 years of age or over
  • Knowledge of Track and Field events is helpful but not required
  • Must enjoy working with children
  • Must be dependable and reliable
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the US and valid government issued ID
  • Paid via direct deposit
  • Must attend Training session and New Hire Orientation

This is a part-time, non-benefited position.
