Wacky Wednesday Instructor

ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is looking for a Wacky Wednesday Instructor to teach a variety of after school programming at Adams Elementary School (Ballard Community Center).

The Wacky Wednesday Instructor will be responsible for planning, leading and delivering programming to kids ages 5-12 years old. Some of the activities and content will include: group games, science projects, cooking crafting, etc. This position will also be responsible for engaging a diverse group of participants. As well as building strong relationships with participants, staff and partners. Creativity, patience, and a love for kids are a must!

 

Location: Adams Elementary School (Ballard Community Center) 

Schedule: Wednesdays from 1:45pm – 5:15pm

Start date: Wednesday, December 13, 2017

End date: Wednesday, June 20, 2018

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $22.00 Hourly DOE

 

Requirements:

  • Over the age of 21
  • Ability to work with kids
  • Ability to manage a group of kids
  • Ability to plan, lead lessons plans and activites
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the US and valid government issued ID

This is a part-time, non-benefited position.
