Yoga Instructor

ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is looking for a Yoga Instructor to teach a yoga classes at the Green Lake Community Center.

 

The Yoga Instructor will be responsible for teaching yoga to adults. The instructor will be responsible for teaching various types for yoga such as Hatha, Gentle and Vini Yoga poses. This position will also be responsible for engaging a diverse group of participants who have varying abilities. As well as building strong relationships with participants, staff and partners. Creativity, patience, and a love for instructing yoga are a must!

 

Location: Green Lake Community Center

Schedule: Weekdays, evenings or weekends

Start date: Tuesday, January 9, 2018

End date: Tuesday, March 27, 2018

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $22.00 Hourly DOE

 

Requirements:

  • Two or more years of experience teaching yoga
  • Must have 200 hours of Certified Trainings
  • Experience teaching in a group setting
  • Over 21 years of age
  • Ability to work with adults 
  • Ability to plan and lead lessons plans
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the US and valid government issued ID

 

This is a part-time, non-benefited position.
