Zumba Instructor (Delridge)

ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is looking for a Zumba Instructor to teach Zumba classes at Delridge Community Center.

Zumba is a Latin inspired dance fitness class that incorporates Latin and International music and dance movements. This class format combines fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body, blending balance of cardio and muscle toning benefits. Zumba is fun, different, easy and effective.

The Zumba instructor will be responsible for teaching participants dance workout routines in a group setting. The instructor will create a fun and energetic environment for participants of all ages. Creativity, patience, and a love for teaching is a must!


Location: Delridge Community Center

Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays from at 7:00pm - 8:00pm (No classes on 4/10 and 4/12)

Start date: Tuesday, April 3, 2018

End date: Thursday, August 30, 2018

Pay range: $18.00 - $20.00 Hourly DOE



  • Must have a Zumba Certification
  • Two or more years of experience teaching Zumba
  • Over 18 years of age 
  • Ability to work with various age groups
  • Ability to plan and lead dance workout routines
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the US and valid photo ID


This is a part-time, non-benefited position.
