Zumba Instructor

ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is looking for a Zumba Instructor to teach Zumba classes at Alki Boathouse (Alki Community Center).

 

Zumba is a Latin inspired dance fitness class that incorporates Latin and International music and dance movements. This class format combines fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body, blending balance of cardio and muscle toning benefits. Zumba is fun, different, easy and effective.

 

The Zumba instructor will be responsible for teaching participants dance workout routines in a group setting. The instructor will create a fun and energetic environment for participants of all ages. Creativity, patience, and a love for teaching is a must!

 

Location: Alki Boathouse (Alki Community Center)

Schedule: Mondays from 7:15pm - 8:15pm

Start date:  Monday, January 22, 2018

End date: TBA

Pay range: $18.00 - $20.00 Hourly DOE

 

Requirements:

  • Must have a Zumba Certification
  • Two or more years of experience teaching Zumba
  • Over 21 years of age 
  • Ability to work with various age groups
  • Ability to plan and lead dance workout routines
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the US and valid photo ID

 

This is a part-time, non-benefited position.
