City-Wide Environmental Education Programs
We offer outdoor nature programming to school and community groups in over 100 of Seattle’s parks and green space.

Dancing Til Dusk
Every summer in July and August, Dancing til Dusk hosts free live music, lessons, and dancing across parks in Seattle. Donate to provide free dance opportunities!

Environmental Learning Center Donations
Donate to Camp Long, Carkeek Park, or Discovery Park today to support scholarships, recreational, and educational programming.

Lifelong Recreation Donations
The Lifelong Recreation Advisory Council fundraises to support recreation and fitness programs for older adults ages 50 and up and designed to serve adults of all abilities.

Our Specialized Programs Advisory Council fundraises and campaigns to support Seattle Parks and Recreation’s Specialized Programs unit, which offers programs youth and adults with disabilities.

Swim Seattle is an initiative that combines the efforts of Associated Recreation Council, Seattle Parks & Recreation and other community partners to remove financial barriers from learning to swim.

The Amy Yee Tennis Center has indoor and outdoor tennis courts for a wide array of programs, from beginner and intermediate lessons for all ages, tournaments, and casual play.

Mt. Baker Rowing & Sailing
The Mount Baker Rowing and Sailing Advisory Council offers inclusive, high-quality rowing and sailing programs that empower youth and adults to connect with the water, build confidence, and grow through sport.

Green Lake Rowing
The Green Lake Rowing Advisory Council operates out of the Green Lake Small Craft Center and provides competitive, recreational, and educational rowing experiences to rowers of all ages.

Seattle Canoe & Kayak Club
Seattle Canoe & Kayak Club (SCKC) provides lessons and competition to canoers and kayakers of all ages.

Heron Habitat Helpers (HHH) is an all-volunteer group that works to help the public enjoy, learn about, and protect great blue herons and their nesting colony at Commodore Park.

SSMMSN responds to reports of all species of marine mammals, dead or alive, along West Seattle’s coastline, including that of the industrialized Duwamish Waterway and Harbor Island.
