The Associated Recreation Council (ARC), in partnership with Seattle Parks & Recreation, serves Seattle by offering a variety of recreational and lifelong learning programs, classes and activities. Our school-age care programs provide a fun, creative, safe and welcoming environment for children to learn, play and grow.
The Child Care Director at McGilvra Elementary School (Montlake Community Center) is responsible for planning and directing the After School Child Care and a Summer Day Camp program for youth ages 5-12 years old; working with Community Center staff to coordinate events, programs and community outreach; supporting other ARC programs within the community center by being a part of planning, marketing and coordination of childcare program events and projects.
Starting Pay Rate: $20.75 hourly DOE/non-exempt; benefited
This is a full-time, year-round, benefited position. Hours will vary and may be scheduled between 6:00am to 6:00pm. Working split shifts may be required based on business/program need.
