The Associated Recreation Council (ARC), in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) is recruiting for a Summer Activity Camp Science Instructor. Super Science Instructor must be able to plan and carry out 3.5 hour lessons/activities for a group of kids ages 5-12 years old. They must have experience working with children in a classroom setting and be able to manage a group of up to 15 students. They must also have a passion for science education, bringing lesson ideas in fields from engineering to basic chemistry. A passion for teaching and science are a must!
Location: Ballard Community Center
Schedule: July 22 to July 26th, 2019; 1 week; Monday - Fridays 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Starting Pay rate: $18.00 to $20.00 hourly DOE/non-exempt
This is a part-time, summer, non-benefited position.
