ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is recruiting for a Summer Camp Pottery Assistant Instructor. The Summer Camp Pottery Assistant Instructor will be responsible for working with the Poittery Lead Instuctor in the clay camp for children ages 8-12 years old. The summer camp pottery assistant instructor will help the Lead Instructor teach campers various pottery techniques including wedging, hand-building, pottery wheeling, glazing, and firing. Previous experience with pottery is preferred.
Location: Montlake Community Center
Schedule: Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 12:30pm and 1:30pm - 5:00pm
Start date: Monday, June 17, 2019
End date: Friday, August 30, 2019
Pay range: $18.00 - $21.00 Hourly
This is a part-time, seasonal, non-benefited position.
