The Associated Recreation Council (ARC), in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) is recruiting for a Summer Tennis Camp Instructor. The Tennis Camp Camp Instructor must have a strong focus on safety and responsibility as well as bringing fun into learning the sport. This camp takes place off-site at the nearby Alki Playfield Tennis Courts, so the instructor is respnsible for making sure all kids are walked safely between the Bathhouse and courts each day. They must be able to plan age appropriate activities for a wide range of ages and skill levels, 7-12 years old, beginner to confident players. They will also be asked to incorporate games and activities to help the kids learn targeted tennis skills.
Location: Alki Community Center
Schedule: 2 weeks; Mondays - Fridays from 9:00am-12:00pm; 8-10 hours per week
Pay rate: $18 - $22 Hourly
This is a part-time, summer, non-benefited position.
