We Are Hiring!
Seattle Parks and Recreation and ARC are recruiting Youth Basketball Officials for the Winter 2019 season.
We are looking for people ages 16 and up to become basketball officials for the Citywide Youth League, which runs from January through March 2019. Games occur on Saturdays and Sundays.
All applicants must pass a background check and be able to fulfill officiating duties. Training is mandatory and will be provided to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to work successfully as an official.
Location: Various Seattle Community Centers
Schedule: Saturdays and/or Sundays
Start date: January 2019
End date: March 2019
Pay range: $22-$26/hr (Depending on experience)
Schedule of Officials Training:
Mandatory officials training starts on November 26th.
- Must be 16 years of age or over
- Officials will be required to attend training session prior to the beginning of the season
- If hired, must pass criminal background check
- If hired, must provide valid government-issued ID and proof of eligibility to work in the US
- If hired, must sign up for direct deposit with either checking or savings account
