Bicycle Sundays

May - September 2020 (select Sundays) | 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. | Seward Park

The country’s first-ever Bicycle Sundays was launched in Seattle in 1965. Be part of this iconic Seattle tradition. People pedal, stroll, and jog along the 2.8-mile closed portion of Lake Washington Boulevard, from the Seward Park entrance to Mount Baker Beach.

Pathway of Lights

December 12, 2020 | 4:30 - 7:30 p.m. | Green Lake & Green Lake Community Center

Seattle Parks and Recreation continues a beloved Seattle tradition with the Pathway of Lights. This free event features over 2.8 miles of luminaries set along the lake, free hot refreshments, live music and carolers. For the past two years, this popular community event has drawn tens of thousands of people to the lake to enjoy the warm glow of five hot air balloons backlit against the city skyline.
