What is Swim Seattle?
Swim Seattle is an initiative that combines the efforts of Associated Recreation Council, Seattle Parks & Recreation and other community partners to remove financial barriers from learning to swim.
Swim Seattle began in 2023 as a pilot by providing a year of free lessons to a cohort of 250 youth. It prioritizes access to those who can’t afford lessons, while also providing workshops to support families and their children in becoming comfortable swimmers and understand water safety.
Donate to Swim Seattle today and help us fund scholarships for swim lessons, purchase swimsuits for youth in need, and continue our drowning prevention and water safety education efforts!
