Fund the Fun's Keynote Speaker is Donald Watts, co-founder of Watts Basketball program

March 4, 2020 | by Julian Baet

We’re excited to announce Donald Watts, one of the nation’s top basketball coaches/mentors in college basketball, will be the Keynote Speaker at our 2nd annual Fund the Fun breakfast on March 12th.

Donald and his father – basketball great Slick Watts – founded Watts Basketball, a program where they train athletes to play smart and work as a team. As coaches, they encourage teamwork, develop skills, and foster a sense of sportsmanship in young players.

A celebrated high school and college basketball player, Donald led the UW Huskies to two NCAA tournaments and had the best three-point percentage in the Pac Ten.

Donald is also an expert commentator on Root Sports Northwest and a co-host of Seattle Sports Radio KJR 950.

There are still a few seats available at this year’s Fund the Fun breakfast so if you’d like to join us and hear Donald’s inspirational presentation, contact Emily at [email protected] to RSVP for the breakfast.
