What is Swim Seattle?
Swim Seattle is a swim education and water safety initiative of Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell. This initiative provides free swim lessons to youth with an emphasis on youth of color, designed to remove barriers to swim, eradicate disproportionate drownings among underserved populations, and offer culturally responsive workshops so families and children have the tools they need to stay safe in and around the water.
