The Associated Recreation Council, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is recruiting for a Clay Camp Instructor. The Clay Camp Instructor will be responsible for planning and leading pottery camps for youth 6-12 years old. The clay instructor will teach participants various pottery techniques including wedging, hand-building, pottery wheeling, glazing, and firing. Previous experience creating curriculum and planning clay lesson plans is preferred.
Location: Laurelhurst Community Center
Monday – Friday 9:00am – 4:00pm or can be flexible for 9:00am – noon or 1:00pm – 4:00pm
Start date: June 25, 2019
End date: August 23, 2019
Pay range: $20 - $25 Hourly
