DISCOVERY PARK SUMMER SHUTTLES

At more than 550 acres, Discovery Park is the largest city park in Seattle. During the summer when visitation is highest, Seattle Parks and Recreation provides a free shuttle bus that transports visitors between the Visitor Center, North Parking lot and the pristine beaches. This no cost shuttle service allows visitors to explore the natural beauty of Discovery Park all day long.

In a typical summer, the shuttle runs every Saturday and Sunday between
Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends. Over 13,000 people rode the shuttle in 2019.

One day of shuttle service costs Seattle Parks and Recreation approximately $1,000 to
accommodate an average of 450 riders. Each roundtrip ride is $5 per person.

All donations made through Associated Recreation Council are tax-deductible (EIN: 51-0170717)
