This year, we are transitioning from our Fund the Fun breakfast to the Power of Play, a ticketed evening event to celebrate 50 years of partnership between Associated Recreation Council (ARC) and Seattle Parks & Recreation.
We’ll celebrate in the elegant Crystal Ballroom at the Washington Athletic Club on Thursday evening, March 5th, 2026, from 5:30 – 8:00 PM. You’ll bid on exciting items in our silent auction, take a chance (or many!) on unique gift packages in our raffle, while enjoying cocktails, wine and delectable appetizers throughout the evening. We’ll recognize those who built this organization and inspire you with our vision for the future. Together, we will support the incredible work and partnership between ARC & Seattle Parks and Recreation.
Our fundraising goal of $100,000 will be shared between the Seattle Parks and Recreation Scholarship program and ARC general operating support.
Your donation will go where it’s needed most in our community -- to ensure that all kids, families, and seniors have access to life-enhancing programs and activities.
Tickets will go on sale in the next few months! Stay tuned to this page and our ARC in Action newsletter for further details.
Some of our current and past sponsors include Seattle Parks and Recreation, Sound Community Bank, and Regence to name just a few. We’ve started using a community-centric fundraising (CCF) approach, where we’re prioritizing the well-being of our entire community, not just our organization. We’re emphasizing social and economic justice, and building strong, interconnected communities. It’s a shift from traditional, donor-focused fundraising model, and we hope you’ll embrace this model as you partner with us now and in the future.
